Art is a universal language for expressing and understanding emotions throughout the world. Being affected by the diagnosis of cancer comes with a very broad and changing spectrum of emotions that go from fear, confusion and darkness to acceptance, love, kindness and light. The MAXimize Life Art Project was born out of a vision and a goal to give people living with cancer and their caregivers a way to express how they feel, through a means that every person in the world would relate to and understand. We envisioned giving cancer survivors and their families a platform to share and inspire each other. Since 2005 we have received almost 2,000 artworks from around the world that have showed us how similar yet unique we all are in coping with and growing out of being bound by cancer.
We would like to invite you to participate in MAXimize Life Art Project 2012 and share your story of courage and survivorship.
