Our dear Fan is back; once again, with a winning artwork for the Asia Pacific Region that catches our eyes with its visual aesthetics and catches our hearts with its motivating message. In his own words, Fan says, “I like this art, ‘We make it, because we never give up!’ so much and its message PUSHES US to move forward to succeed.”
We are so enthused by Fan’s art and know you will want to see more! Check out his personal art blog “Fan’s Art: A Motivation Art Gallery to Inspire U & Me”. It is a must see!
Fan is a CML survivor, graphic artist and one of the founding members of “Max Family”, the first CML patient support organization in Malaysia. With his friends in Max Family, he spends his time mentoring new patients and leading patient workshops. He is happily married to his soul mate Eleen and lives and works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Fan’s message about his art:
“I have learned many people were diagnosed cancer. Still, they never give up on their life. In fact, they appreciate more and understand the meaning of life, they continue to refocus their goals and maximize their life. I am one of them. I would like to dedicate this art to all cancer survivors, caregivers, family, doctors, nurses, friends and many people around us who share the joy of our success. ‘WE MAKE IT, BECAUSE WE NEVER GIVE UP!’ This art is to bring cancer awareness to everyone that ‘Cancer is not equal to dead’.”
