We are so excited!!!!!!! Aren’t you excited??? Let’s all get excited for the 2011 “Kids can rise above cancer too” campaign!
Doesn’t it make you smile to see the adorable new Maximize Life logos all over our website? I am smiling for sure, thanks to Fan, the creator and designer of all of our amazing Maximize Life logos. Now, our favorite Brave Sparrow has a family! And this Brave Sparrow family represents all of us and all of our children. And it especially represents children facing cancer around the world.
The 2011 Maximize Life campaign will be carried out in partnership with patient associations and cancer support organizations to organize Celebrations of Life events around the world that directly benefit children living with cancer. The theme “Kids can rise above cancer too” is meant to inspire each of us to take action in our own communities because with our support, kids CAN live with cancer.
While 90 percent of children with cancer survive in the Western World, survival rates in other parts of the world are as low as 10 percent. This is an injustice to families facing cancer! But together, we can improve clinical outcomes for kids with cancer if we send the strong message within our neighborhoods, towns and cities that “Kids can rise above cancer too” with early detection, proper diagnostics, and access to treatment. With our help, kids CAN AND WILL survive cancer.
