Help cancer patients through the COVID-19 pandemic
A note from our CEO on COVID-19
By now, you’ve likely read dozens of messages regarding everyone’s efforts around COVID-19—so I’ll jump right to it. We are currently caring for more than 30,000 cancer patients in over 70 countries, most of whom are finding themselves unable to reach the hospital and receive their urgently needed cancer treatment. In several countries, clinics are closed and hospitals are focusing what limited resources they have on the pandemic; transportation services have been halted, and patients are frightened and unable to venture out from their cities and villages at this time.
We need your help to support our vulnerable patients at this time.
Our team has pivoted quickly and working harder than ever in close collaboration with our partner physicians to protect patients. We’re talking with our patients and partners daily and finding new ways to cope.
And while we cannot stop the pandemic, extraordinary times require extraordinary measures. With your help, we are committed to delivering medication to the homes of as many patients as possible for the next four months. Together we have an opportunity to ensure they continue their treatment and stay safe, while not taxing the fragile healthcare system.
Today we need your support. There’s never been a more pressing time to take care of one another, both locally and globally. Please donate to help our patients continue to receive treatment throughout this pandemic.
From myself and the entire Max team, we are grateful for your support at this time.
Stay safe and know that we are here with you, together, from our homes to yours.
